Bijen grew up in India spending hours in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother, absorbing traditional recipes and techniques. Kaku brought the same dedication, honing her skills while raising their family. Together, in Spotswood, New Jersey, they turned that lifelong passion into The Indian Lab.

What started in a home kitchen — sharing flavorful meals with friends and family — grew into The Indian Lab: a brand dedicated to premium, homemade-style Indian spices that are freshly ground and blended in small batches.
